Join Mike for this inspiring workshop drawing unique perspectives of nature.
Drawing a landscape can be daunting – or liberating! This 3-hour workshop is designed to help you (re)discover your artistic voice through a focus on line. Using a range of materials, Mike will guide you in a simple process from initial inspiration to finished work.
Who is it for:
This is a workshop for teens and adults of all levels – whether you are starting out, looking to find your artistic voice, or to extend your existing studio practice. Via a straightforward, structured approach together with personalised tips, Mike will guide you in:
exploring what truly captures your eye and imagination;
‘seeing’ nature as form, colour, texture, movement and light;
discovering how varying control of the drawn line can nurture your artistic voice;
experiencing the joy of mastering expressive line.
What you will get:
All materials are supplied.
You’ll leave with your own unique frame-ready drawing!
What to bring:
We’ll be working from photos as inspiration, so if you have a photo of a natural landscape that you’d like to base your drawing on, bring it along!
