Kokedama workshop | Habitat Plant House
About the event
Learn the Japanese horticultural technique of Kokedama! Kokedama (translating as ‘moss ball’) is a clever and fun way to contain a plant’s root ball in soil, moss, and twine. This makes for an aesthetically interesting and fun way to present and care for your houseplants.
All materials needed are provided for this 2-hour workshop.
In this workshop you will:
Create your own kokedama house plant.
Select from 3-different easy and beautiful indoor plants.
Learn the Japanese technique of kokedama to use for your own future plant crafting projects.
Choose either a hanging or water dish option for display.

ReLOVED Terrarium workshop | Habitat Plant House
About the event
Have fun building a small ReLOVED TERRARIUM from otherwise ordinary objects!! This workshop will go over the basics and necessities for constructing and understanding a terrarium, plant choices, vessel choice, and proper care. Attendees will get to build and take home their very own repurposed terrarium and have fun meeting other plant nerds!
All materials needed are provided for this 2-hour workshop.
