Running a workshop with us
We want our classes to be as accessible for artists and the community as the current economic climate will allow!
We have designed the fee schedule to encourage forward planning, marketing and accurate pricing to allow for everyone to thrive in the process. If you need any help do get in touch!
Hot tip!
Repeating events do better and give people a chance to hear about the event and find a time to come! Our most success events recur on predictable intervals (weekly/monthly) & allow people plenty of lead time to plan their attendance!
Pricing options
Our space is available to hire for private and non-ticketed events at standard hourly or day rates. If your class is ticketed and available to the public you must go through our class-hosting system, which involves a Humanitix listing and a spot on our website. Choose between Workshops or Courses/series:

Events which are run irregularly. If your workshop is a course or will repeat 3 or more times, choose our course/series option.
These are hosted on our website via Humanitix
You pay a small flat fee that will be retained as a deposit if the class is cancelled, and we keep a percentage of ticket sales before we pay your share at the end of the course/series

Events running three (3) or more times - could be a course where people return each week or the same workshop repeated with new people - main thing is that it only needs one event listing
These are hosted on our website via Humanitix

Promote
Marketing works best when we all promote the class. We will:
Post on our Instagram feed & stories
Promote in our newsletter 3 weeks ahead of the event.
We encourage you to share on local facebook groups, print posters and share on your own socials etc.
Payment
Humanitix releases the money the week after the workshop
We will request an invoice from you/or you can provide it when you are ready
We will pay you the ticket payout (minus commission) when we have both the money and the invoice!
Repeat
Prep
You get ready for your class as you see fit. Think about set up, vibe (music/food) & practicalities: whatever you need for the workshop to run smoothly
You will get updates on the sales progress via
We will provide a lock code for access on the day and an information pack about the space (where to find things and how to use it all) as well
AFTER
Had fun? Want to build on things or make some changes? Let’s go again and discuss if theres anything that needs to be pivoted.

Arrive at least 30 minutes early for set up (if you will be more than an hour early please check first)
