Ever wanted to make a video game? Learn the fundamentals of game production over a fun-filled day of programming and development.
9am-3.30pm Ages 16-18 years
Participants will make a simple 2D game full of movement and sound (and heavily armed snails). The first half of the workshop will be teacher-led, following the instructor as he steps you through the basics and creates a simple video game.
After lunch, you’re free to create your own, with lots of help on hand to fix bugs and explore your ideas. At the end of the day you’ll go home ready to tinker and test your knowledge with a pre-loaded USB of everything you learned.
