In this 3-hour beginner workshop we will have fun building a small robot arm from scratch. Then we will put our little arm to the test, using a microcontroller to manually move the robot, and learn simple programming skills to help it push a pen across paper. This is a great introduction to basic robotics, or a fun chance to challenge your knowledge of coding for robots.
What you get:
- Hands-on, step-by-step instruction in a small class size from an experienced robot guru
- A small kit of electronic components to make your very own robot to take home
- Access to a ready-to-use laptop for the coding portions
- A fun, engaging atmosphere where you’re free to experiment and discover
- Tea, coffee and a packet of biscuits provided. BYO any other (non-messy) snack or drink
Take home:
- A small robot arm kit with microcontroller, USB with installers, and other components like resistors and LED lights.
